A murder investigation is underway after a young man was killed and another injured in Bow.
Police were called at about 21:20hrs on Wednesday 13 January to reports of a fight, involving a group of approximately 15 people, in Parnell Road E3.
Officers discovered the two victims nearby suffering from stab wounds. Both were taken to the RoyalLondonHospital.
Isschan Nicholls, 18, of Poplar E14 died early on 15 January.
A post-mortem is due took place today (Saturday) at the hospital mortuary and gave cause of death as stab wounds to the abdomen and thigh. Next of kin have been informed.
The second victim, aged 17, was treated and discharged.
An incident room has opened at Sutton under DI Andy Booth (HSCC).
